Apple Jack is the 5th painting in my I DO Know Jack! series of photorealistic acrylic paintings. This print is hand signed and numbered by the artist and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is printed on acid-free paper using archival inks. The edition size is limited to 175. (Frame and mat not included.)
The reflection in the jack on Apple Jack is a very famous location - Bethel, New York. The green you see is the field that 500,000 hippies sat on and danced on while listening to some of the most famous rock and roll stars in history. During a trip to visit the Woodstock Museum, my wife and I posed the apple and the jack after sitting on the grass and recollecting our favorite songs from that era.
Apple Jack received an Honorable Mention in the 2016 Richeson75 International Still Life and Floral Exhibit. It was also in the Top 25 finish at ArtPrize in 2015 as well as part of the 1st Prize Award in the 2015 MI Great Artist competition.
In addition, it was selected by North Light Books to be featured in Acrylicworks 4, their annual Best of Acrylic Painting series which is open to artists worldwide.
The original acrylic painting is still available for purchase.
